Adirondack Chairs

The Green Dragon Chair Company made national television as the program was featured on Ron Hazelton's House Calls home improvement show. The response has been amazing as we have heard from people in Bangor, Maine -  Seattle, Washington, - Rio Lindo, California, and of course Florida. The four corners of the country have been covered and many states in between. Also the chairs will have an international flavor as a set is headed to Prince Edward Island in Canada! The segment is scheduled to re-air on the weekend of July 24-25 2010. 

Since we have started the program there have been over 2,300 chairs made. All the products have used over 26 miles of lumber. What is the most important issue is the number of students that been exposed to manufacturing and business operations, and learning life and work skills in the process.
