Lake Country Elementary Participates in the Annual Lake Placid Fall Festival

LCE  partners with the community in providing Lake Placid's  youth a safe alternative to trick or treating on Halloween.  Lake Country provides children with the materials and support to decorate sugar cookies with cookies, icing, and candy corn. Children of all ages enjoys expressing themselves with icing.

Staff members, Coach Nitz, Mrs. White, and Mrs. Sides fill hundreds of individual serving cups with Icing, and  candy corn.

Ms. Sweat, and Mrs. Robinson put together individual packets containing a plate, sugar cookie, spreader, and candy corn.

 Ms. Grimes and Coach Nitz, along with other staff members, volunteer their time to ensure that everybody has fun and things run smoothly.

Parent's and staff (Mrs. Cope) both, enjoy watching the children have fun creating a Halloween treat.

Mrs. Smith keeps the cookie decorating supplies flowing smoothly.

Mr. Smith also lends a hand passing out decorating supplies.

This Dad enjoyed helping his daughters create a pumpkin surprise. Mom Amy watches as Leigha decorates her cookie.
Aunt Alana gives this cowgirl a thumbs up on her cookie. Even "Edward Scissor Hands" puts his scissors down to enjoy a cookie.
You are never too young to decorate a cookie. Princess Rebecca is pleased with her creation.
