Parents it's never to early to begin thinking about what your child will need for Kindergarten Registration.  Open enrollment for LCE will be announced sometime in May. However you may also stop by the school for registration information and paper work, or register your child in the office at Lake Country Elementary, Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Please note that there are medical requirements that must be met before your child can enter Kindergarten in the fall.  You will need the following information to register your child:

• The child’s original Birth Certificate
• Florida Immunization/Shot Record
• Physical Examination Documentation (the physical examination must be performed within 12 months prior to student official enrollment date.)
• Child’s Social Security Card
• Proof of Residence: (Rental agreement; mortgage deed; electric bill; etc…)
• Proof of Custody (if child does not live with both natural parents)
• Parent/Guardian Photo Identification
• All students entering Kindergarten for the 2013-2014 school year MUST BE FIVE YEARS OLD ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 1st,2013-NO EXCEPTIONS

Please tell your doctor, when taking your child for his/her checkup, that they will be entering Kindergarten in the fall, and will need the updated immunization requirements.  Don’t assume that your doctor will automatically know that you will be registering your child for Kindergarten in the fall.
