I grew up in good ole Lake Placid, FL. After graduating from LPHS, I went to UCF in Orlando where I obtained my bachelor's degree. After four years in Orlando, I missed the small town, so I moved back and began working for the School Board of Highlands County as a Speech Therapist. Went back to school and got a master's degree from Northern Arizona University. Over the years I have been a speech therapist, third grade teacher, ESE teacher, and Guidance Resource Teacher. I am currently the ESE Resource teacher here at KLC.....and VERY happy to be a part of this school!
