PARENT-TEACHER ORGANIZATION (PTO)
KLC's PTO provides a forum for parent, teacher, and administrator communication regarding school wide concerns; allocates funds to subsidize the expense of school related programs; coordinates school wide fundraising projects and activities; provides support to the faculty and staff at KLC for a variety of special events; and makes all decisions governing disbursement of PTO funds through majority vote by parents and teachers present at monthly meetings.

If you are interested in serving in this capacity, please contact your child's teacher or the front office. Sign-up will also be available during the open house.

SCHOOL ADVISORY COUNCIL
Members of the School Advisory Council (SAC) shall include the school principal and an appropriately balanced number of teachers, education support employees, students, parents, and business and community representatives.  This council assists in the development of the school improvement plan and provides recommendations on the specific components of the plan, such as the goals of the school, indicators of student progress, strategies and evaluations, budget, training, instructional materials, technology, staffing, student support services, and other matters of resource allocation.
