Established in 1991 and named for its proximity to the Florida Cracker Trail, Cracker Trail Elementary School is one of Highlands County's top elementary schools.We have the most involved parents, a dedicated staff and the very best students all of which contribute to our success. You can find us here in the heart of Highlands County.

The VISION of our school district is "Leading Together to Achieve Excellence." The MISSION of our school district is "By uniting stakeholders, we will prepare our students to be college and career ready, empower our students to achieve personal excellence, and foster responsible citizens."

Our MISSION at Cracker Trail Elementary School is "To develop lifelong learners and leaders."
