The School Board of Highlands County provides each employee with term life insurance from Mutual of Omaha (New carrier effective 10/1/2011). Employees may opt to purchase additional coverage up to $125,000.

  • $20,000 provided for all full-time instructional and non-instructional employees.
  • $50,000 provided for full-time administrative and non-bargaining employees.

Eligibility:
Employees of the School Board of Highlands County are eligible for a term life insurance policy on the policy's date of issurance or the complete date following the waiting period.
